LegendSky Flight School  ·  Rhino Park Airfield, Pretoria

From your first taxi to your first solo.

LegendSky trains pilots at Rhino Park Airfield, just outside Pretoria — National, Private, and Commercial pilot licences, with ground school, medical, and flying all handled under one roof.

Every airline captain, every charter pilot, every weekend flyer who’s ever pushed a throttle forward started in a small aircraft with an instructor beside them, learning one checklist at a time. That’s where we come in. Whether you want to fly for the love of it or you’re aiming at a career in the cockpit, LegendSky has a licence pathway that starts exactly where you are.

The Pathway

Three licences. One airfield.

Where you start depends on what you want out of flying — a weekend hobby, a private licence, or a professional career.

Questions

Before you enquire

Do I need any flying experience to start?
No. Most students walk in with zero hours. Training starts from the very first lesson, in the aircraft, with an instructor beside you.

Can I study the theory in my own time?
Yes — all eight ground school subjects are available through our online ground school platform, so you can work through the theory around your schedule.

What if I want to fly professionally, not just as a hobby?
The PPL is the prerequisite for the Commercial Pilot Licence. Many of our students continue straight through from PPL to CPL once they’ve decided to make a career of it.

Where does training actually happen?
Rhino Park Airfield, just off the R515 outside Pretoria — our aircraft, instructors, and operations are all based there.
